Botox Application
Botox (Botulinum Toxin) application is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure used for the reduction of wrinkles, rejuvenation of facial contours, and the treatment of certain medical conditions. Botox is a purified protein derived from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It temporarily prevents excessive muscle contractions, reducing wrinkles and giving the face a more youthful, dynamic appearance. Botox is most commonly used for reducing wrinkles in the forehead, between the eyebrows (glabella), around the eyes (crow's feet), and above the upper lip. In addition, it can also be used for the treatment of neck lines, prominent muscles in the chin area, and fine lines around the nose. In addition to aesthetic use, it is also an effective treatment for medical conditions such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), migraines, and teeth grinding (bruxism). Botox treatment is quite quick and practical. The procedure is performed by injecting small doses of botulinum toxin into the muscles using fine-tipped needles. The procedure typically takes 10-15 minutes and does not require anesthesia. Results typically begin to appear within 3-7 days, and the effects last for an average of 4-6 months.
